Out of Home Media SA (OHMSA) is the officially recognised trade association for the Out of Home Media Industry in South Africa.

Its members provide media channels across the entire spectrum of Out of Home Media from ambient or alternative media through airport advertising to the giant billboards and wall wraps.

How does a company become a member of OHMSA?

Simply call 011 781 9367 and ask to speak to the Executive Director. Alternatively, explore the OHMSA website for more information.

Full Membership:

The Association accepts applications for full membership from registered media owners who have been in operation for a minimum period of 6 months.

The company must be prepared to abide by the OHMSA Constitution and Code of Practices.

Associate Membership:

The Association accepts applications for associate membership from the following out of home industry stakeholders: Advertising Agencies, Poster-buying Specialists, Marketers, Suppliers & Industry Bodies.

The company must be prepared to endorse the OHMSA Constitution and Code of Practices.

Out of Home Media Formats

The various different out of home media formats are shown in a grid and classified under 10 headings.

This grid is used to submit monthly ad revenue figures to ACNielsen who publish the industry ad revenue figures.
